In our second night in the gorgeous Eye of Tempest Keep, and our
first night of attempts on Void Reaver, quiXotic smashed Void Reaver into many tiny pieces. Four attempts were made, as well as an accidental pull that has become as much a raid staple as the sacrificial mage.
Three items he dropped, their disposition listed here: Eviserate took home the
Mantle of the Avatar, Maharan walked away with
Cataclysm Shoulderguards, and
Fel Reaver's Piston went to Vanadin.
But oh! There is more! One of the lesser sentries dropped a
Girdle of Fallen Stars, which Pahrump looted with fantastic glee. Two
Nether Vortexes also dropped, with one each going to Iwascured and Jestersend. Several Illidari marks also dropped in sufficient number that listing the recipients would be lengthy and meaningless.
Clearing from the entrance to the Reaver took roughly eighty five minutes, with only one wipe on the first pull in the Reaver's own room. The first pulls, those devilish six-packs, were respawning by the time the Reaver went down, and Bubbleherth ran into some trouble when he released while flagged.
